Intuit is looking to solve the business and technical problem of designing and delivering innovative end-to-end user experiences for Human Capital Management features for mid-market businesses within their QuickBooks Workforce Solutions. This involves simplifying complex processes, owning new features, reimagining existing experiences, and restructuring business processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in interaction design, product design, or related field
- Experience designing products with high degrees of complexity and cross-product interdependencies
- Has worked in environments of experimentation where product goals may not have a clearly defined end state
- Experience working in organizations with robust design systems
- Has worked on products from concept to code (end-to-end)
- Deep knowledge of design principles, methods, layout and composition, interpreting and applying a standardized design system
- Mastery of Figma, auto-layout
Responsibilities
- Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms
- Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes and prototypes
- Use facilitative leadership skills to drive to the best outcome for stakeholders, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you
- Drive design decisions through data by partnering with our analytics team
- Participate in and analyze extensive customer research to identify insights that will ultimately provide customer value and delight
- Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system
- Leverage iterative prototyping to quickly test concepts and learn from customers using a variety of methodologies.

- Deliver multiple projects simultaneously through robust communication and time management skills
- Providing design leadership within a team by collaborating with product managers, analysts, researchers, writers, and engineering partners to create outstanding customer experiences
- Effectively present and communicate your designs and rationale to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management
- Participate in and promote a culture of detailed feedback rooted in first principles, design rationale, customer data, and industry best practices
- Coaching and mentoring more junior designers on the team in craft and development of key hard and soft skills.
