Verily is looking to solve the problem of transforming unstructured protocol data into intelligent, machine-readable formats to drive automation, interoperability, and evidence generation in healthcare research
Requirements
- Experience leading AI/ML-based product initiatives in healthcare or life sciences
- Demonstrated familiarity with LLMs or other NLP technologies
- Proven success defining APIs, data models, and architectures for large-scale, interoperable systems
- Deep domain knowledge in clinical research, trial design, or healthcare operations
- Expertise with healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7, CDISC)
- Experience with digital protocol management
- Familiarity with data-centric or enterprise platform products
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for protocol digitization
- Partner with senior engineering, data science, product and clinical leaders to design scalable, AI-powered solutions
- Translate complex sponsor and operational needs into high-impact product capabilities
- Lead cross-functional execution across multiple product areas
- Establish and track success metrics to measure adoption, data quality, and business impact
- Influence both internal platform architecture and external partnerships
- Drive automation, interoperability, and evidence generation in healthcare research
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical field
- 12+ years of product management experience
- Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree (preferred)
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills
- Track record of driving platform adoption, product innovation, and measurable business outcomes
