- 8+ years of significant expertise in full-stack development
- Strong understanding of OO Fundamentals
- Extensive experience within AWS environments
- High emphasis on testing
- Experience with C, React, AWS technologies
- Experience successfully working with a distributed workforce
- Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives
Responsibilities
- Taking ultimate technical ownership of Zocdoc’s expansion into several new and innovative offerings
- Analyzing and decomposing highly complex and ambiguous product challenges to drive sound, scalable, and forward-thinking architectural and design decisions
- Working hands-on with the team and personally contributing to and guiding the shipping of production code using C, React, AWS technologies to millions of users
- Collaborating with the agile team of dedicated and brilliant engineers, product managers, and designers
- Mentoring peers and colleagues at all levels by giving thoughtful feedback
- Continuously improving the ability to deliver quality solutions through evolving engineering process, advocating for technical capabilities, and driving strategic investments in platforms

- NYC Base Salary Range $192,000—$288,000 USD
