Zscaler is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join their Product Management team to develop and sustain efficient services, APIs, and workflows, architect scalable solutions, and craft/optimize database schemas, ultimately contributing to the company's growing portfolio of cloud security capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend development experience with expertise in Java (Spring Boot), Python (Fast API, Django, Flask), Node.js (Express, Nest JS), and Go (g RPC/REST)
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Proficient in working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Skilled in messaging and streaming systems like Kafka or AWS SQS
- Experienced in deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Open Telemetry
- Experienced in developing internal platforms and tools to enhance efficiency and scalability
