Requirements

  • Strong experience with C, .NET, and SQL.
  • Experience working at scale with cloud providers such as AWS.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of modern architectural patterns for SaaS systems (e.g., microservices, event-driven design, distributed systems).
  • Familiarity with big data ecosystems, including Airflow-based ETL workflows, data lake architectures, or platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud-native data-lake services.
  • Experience with JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience building and tracking service-level objectives (SLOs) with contemporary monitoring/observability platforms (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver high-quality software.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, ensuring the team focuses on the right problems and builds practical, right-sized solutions without adding unnecessary complexity.
  • Review code and offer constructive, actionable feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
  • Lead POCs, research new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency.

  • Due to FedRAMP requirements, US Citizenship is required to be considered for this role.
  • This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX. You’ll be in the office at least once a week and more frequently as team or project needs require.
  • Strong communications skills, including the ability to understand stakeholder needs and persuasively articulate technical solutions at the appropriate level of technical depth.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Independent, highly motivated engineer who drives work forward with minimal oversight.
