Intuit is looking to solve challenging financial problems for millions of people worldwide by designing products that help customers make more money, save time, and make confident financial decisions, specifically through the Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) that powers AI driven expert networks and delivers GenAI powered experiences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience architecting and designing SAAS offerings, leading design for web, software, or mobile applications. Hands on (50% time spent on coding/code reviews)
  • Hands-on development experience on the Salesforce platform, specifically with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and/or Aura Components.
  • Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, C-Sharp, Python, or similar.
  • Proven experience with web services (REST and/or SOAP APIs) for system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience with at least one core service (e.g., Lambda, S3, SQS, EC2, DynamoDB) for building scalable and integrated solutions.
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, and working with structured/unstructured data.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Develop robust integrations between Salesforce and external systems, potentially leveraging AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, S3) for efficient data flow and processing, using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration patterns.
  • Contribute significantly to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, coding (approximately 80-95% hands-on), testing, and deployment.
  • Demonstrate tech leadership: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
  • Ability to navigate Intuit towards Ecosystems and Platform to be steward in visioning short-and long-term strategy, trade-offs across business and technology.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of the project. Hands-on in coding

Other

  • B. Tech/M. Tech in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to take ownership of problems and drive solutions independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
