Google's Search Keywordless and Shopping Targeting teams are looking to build retrieval and targeting models that power multiple Google Ads products, aiming to deliver relevant ads to users with minimal effort from advertisers by leveraging machine learning, big data infrastructure, and core retrieval technologies.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and working with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Experience working on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Deep Learning.
Responsibilities
- Build large-scale Machine Learning (ML) systems.
- Possess knowledge of ML models/algorithm design and implementation and their application to real-world problems.
- Manage full-stack backend software development and implement sustainable, well-designed systems and data pipelines, with production launch/impact.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, data scientists etc.
- Communicate about ML technology, Targeting, Ads systems design and implementation.
- Develop the next-generation technologies that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
- Work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our changing business grow and evolve.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack.
