Asahi Kasei America, Inc. is looking to fill a Sr. System Engineer position to support the corporate hosting infrastructure by designing, implementing and maintaining the company’s hosting services (cloud and on-premise), physical servers, storage and backup systems.
Requirements
- Cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Kubernetes, docker solutions
- DevOps Toolchain: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform,
- Scripting and configuration : PowerShell, YAML, JSON
- Cisco C Series Servers, Dell servers
- Backup : EMC Avamar, Rubrik, Veeam
- OS : Windows Server, , Microsoft Clustering, SQL Server, Linux
Responsibilities
- Drive infrastructure modernization and cloud migration.
- Manage container orchestration and automation.
- Install and configure physical servers (Hypervisors)
- Install and configure storage and backup system (EMC, Rubrik, Veeam solutions)
- Regularly patch devices (firmware, drivers,…)
- Manage backup systems, check that all jobs are running without failure
- Install, configure and manage the virtualization platform (VMware)
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
- 2 years experience managing and configuring Cloud resources
- 10 years’ experience managing and configuring VMware environment
- Domestic and International travel 3 - 4 times a year
- Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days per week in office
