Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is looking to solve systems-level software/hardware testing and modification problems
Requirements
Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field
Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation
Knowledge of wireless specifications
Experience with bug tracking systems
Programming skills for testing programs
Experience with design reviews and project meetings
Knowledge of systems-level software/hardware
Responsibilities
Independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the testing and modifying of general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware
Interprets wireless specifications
Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers
Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content
Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system
Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings
Other
Telecommuting may be permitted, but must report to Qualcomm’s office location(s) in Bridgewater, NJ when not telecommuting
Must have a Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience
