Boeing Information Technology (IT) is seeking a Senior Systems DevOps Developer to design, develop, and implement software solutions to enhance network infrastructure and propel technology into the future, specifically focusing on DHCP, DNS, and IPAM (DDI) Services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience programming in Java
- 5+ years of experience in IT configuration management planning, change management, and configuration management auditing
- 5+ years of experience with JSF/Spring Framework/Hibernate stack
- 5+ years of experience deploying applications on Java EE application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, or Jetty
- 5+ years of experience developing SQL queries on databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- 5+ years of experience with source control systems such as Git or Subversion
- 5+ years of experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable, secure automated software solutions using CI/CD pipeline methods and tools
- Create and document designs that conform to architectural and security standards to meet business requirements, using approved processes, policies and PROs
- Prepare, deploy, and coordinate installation of complex implementation packages per Boeing standards
- Provide Level 3 and 4 Incident/Problem Management support in preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance to meet service restoration and service availability objectives, using analytics, monitoring tools and automation
- Lead vendor and component research evaluations and recommendations to establish architectural direction and technical roadmaps
- Lead and perform implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects, using established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling quality, costs, and adherence to the project plan
- Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders, Network Designers, Information Security, Corporate Communications and vendors using Lean and Agile concepts to deliver solutions for the enterprise DDI (Infrastructure) services

- Support off shift, on call support on a rotational basis
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
