The Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Systems Engineering Software Integrator to join their team in Richardson, TX, to serve as an individual contributor for the P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Training Systems Integration and Test team, providing software integration for the P-8A AAS Training Systems.
Requirements
- 3+ Experience with Linux Operating Systems
- 3+ years of experience and competency in troubleshooting, analysis and problem- solving strategies
- Must be able to obtain a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as: bash, PowerShell, python
- 5+ Experience with Linux Operating Systems
- DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
- Active Top Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
- Maintain P-8A AAS training devices functionality
- Integration of locally developed software into the training devices
- Integration and troubleshooting of software from outside entities, requiring external support for configuration and troubleshooting
- Install and configure Windows and Linux virtual machines to meet cyber security requirements. Install and test monthly patches on the operating systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems to find root cause and collaborate with the functional teams to find resolution.
- Perform scheduled lab maintenance operations and cyber continuous monitoring activities in the labs.
- Integration, configuration, and verification of map and radar databases

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically (intermittent for remote installations)
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required
