Requirements
- Experience with Systems Engineering principles
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
- Embedded Software experience
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development processes using program management tools
- Proven track record with software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management
- TPM Certifications
- Atlassian Productivity Suite and Google Workspace expertise
Responsibilities
- Development of quarterly planning and detailed milestone schedules, mediate scope, participate in transforming requirements and specifications into achievable plans, manage inter-team dependencies, identify and mitigate program risks
- Partner with Engineering Managers to ensure teams balance their essential initiatives, iterative improvements and proactive excellence investments
- Support smooth execution of programs, team efficiency, and effectiveness through the application of appropriate process and execution monitoring
- Be a point of contact for high-visability multi-functional workstreams
- Understand cross-team effects of project initiatives, owning dependency management and risk mitigation to prevent impediments to execution. Shield teams from outside distractions and interferences
- Effectively communicate execution status of initiatives and program milestone work to all stakeholders. Summarize reporting, raise and resolve risks, and celebrate wins
Other
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields
- 5+ years of Technical or Engineering Program/Project Management experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
