Gridware is looking to protect and enhance the electrical grid by improving safety, reducing outages, and ensuring the grid operates efficiently through its Active Grid Response platform.
Requirements
- Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of the software lifecycle, including CI/CD, release management, and performance optimization.
- Experience defining and scaling program management functions within an early-stage or high-growth startup.
- Prior experience in distributed systems, IoT, or communication infrastructure.
- Experience partnering with product management and engineering leadership to define long-term roadmap and OKRs.
- Track record of improving application reliability, scalability, and performance through process and tooling innovation.
- Proven ability to partner with engineering leads to plan, execute, and deliver production systems at scale.
Responsibilities
- Drive complex, multi-disciplinary software programs spanning web, mobile, backend, and data systems.
- Define program goals, milestones, and delivery frameworks to support rapid product and infrastructure growth.
- Translate technical challenges into clear execution plans and ensure consistent communication across all levels of the company.
- Identify and manage dependencies across software, data, and device teams, ensuring smooth integration across the full stack.
- Create tools and processes that increase engineering velocity and reliability (e.g., CI/CD, release pipelines, monitoring).
- Establish technical execution rhythms and reporting structures as the team scales.
- Proactively surface and manage risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities for acceleration.

- 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional software or infrastructure programs.
- Clear communicator capable of aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders around a shared roadmap.
