Gridware is looking to protect and enhance the electrical grid by improving safety, reducing outages, and ensuring the grid operates efficiently through its Active Grid Response platform.

Requirements

  • Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of the software lifecycle, including CI/CD, release management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience defining and scaling program management functions within an early-stage or high-growth startup.
  • Prior experience in distributed systems, IoT, or communication infrastructure.
  • Experience partnering with product management and engineering leadership to define long-term roadmap and OKRs.
  • Track record of improving application reliability, scalability, and performance through process and tooling innovation.
  • Proven ability to partner with engineering leads to plan, execute, and deliver production systems at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex, multi-disciplinary software programs spanning web, mobile, backend, and data systems.
  • Define program goals, milestones, and delivery frameworks to support rapid product and infrastructure growth.
  • Translate technical challenges into clear execution plans and ensure consistent communication across all levels of the company.
  • Identify and manage dependencies across software, data, and device teams, ensuring smooth integration across the full stack.
  • Create tools and processes that increase engineering velocity and reliability (e.g., CI/CD, release pipelines, monitoring).
  • Establish technical execution rhythms and reporting structures as the team scales.
  • Proactively surface and manage risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities for acceleration.

  • 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional software or infrastructure programs.
  • Clear communicator capable of aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders around a shared roadmap.
