Optiver is looking to expand its trading footprint and strengthen its core systems that power its global platform by driving programs that bring new markets, asset classes, and products online, while scaling the foundational software that manages instruments, trades, positions, and risk.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management within a high-performance technology environment
  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional software programs from design to rollout
  • Technically fluent - comfortable engaging in architecture and systems design discussions

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary programs that enable Optiver’s trading expansion into new markets, asset classes, and products
  • Oversee development of the firm’s core trading software - including instruments, trades, positions, and control systems
  • Partner with senior engineering and trading leadership to define scope, align priorities, and execute high-impact initiatives
  • Enhance delivery processes, feedback loops, and reporting to improve cross-team visibility and accountability
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across trading and software development teams
