American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. is looking to drive the development and delivery of technical products and solutions for their customers.
Requirements
- Agile and Scrum project management, including monitoring project budgets, reporting, and ensuring compliance with SDLC protocols
- software design, development, testing, and implementation
- technical solution analysis, design, and execution
- analysis and research on current business trends and advanced technologies
- implementation and execution of Scrum and Agile practices to deliver technology solutions
- algorithms, CD/CI processes and tools, data structures, design patterns, HTML, Java, object-oriented design and coding across a variety of platforms, Rally, SOAP, Waterfall, web design, Web Services, and XML.
Responsibilities
- Guide technical teams in the execution of project plans and track team velocity, financials, and other KPIs in relation to project plans and progress reports.
- Perform reviews of product backlogs, designs, code, test scripts, and results and address delivery impediments or product quality issues.
- Use technical acumen to provide design alternatives and support team in technical issue resolution.
- Maintain dependency plans between planned sprints across engineering, infrastructure, and third-parties.
- Conduct daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the end of each sprint.
- Coordinate with business units to prioritize, plan, and execute development schedules in-line with product development initiatives and regulatory needs.
- Engage with product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to understand business needs and identify solutions.
Other
- Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with technical delivery and IT project management.
- Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: delivering industry leading solutions to market
- Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.
