Dandy is transforming the dental industry through technology and is looking to hire a Senior Technical Sourcer to find and engage top talent in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision.
Requirements
- 4+ years of dedicated technical sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused specifically on Machine Learning, AI, or Deep Learning talent.
- Technical acumen or a background that allows you to confidently read and discuss high-level ML concepts, research papers, and relevant programming stacks (Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc.).
- Proven expertise in leveraging advanced search techniques, specialized tools (e.g., GitHub, Semantic Scholar, industry conferences), and networking to map niche talent pools.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal ML talent market expert by mapping top research institutions, labs, and startups, and providing competitive insights.
- Design search strategies that surface candidates with intellectual rigor and first-principles problem-solving skills.
- Assess candidate quality through analysis of publications, open-source contributions, and patents to gauge technical depth and impact.
- Proactively generate and maintain evergreen pipelines for high-bar ML roles (Emerging Talent, Research Scientists, Applied Scientists, and ML Engineering Leaders).
- Craft precise, technically fluent outreach tailored to candidates’ research areas, ensuring credibility and resonance.
- Lead high-bar technical screens while acting as a credible ambassador for the ML team, translating complex challenges into compelling narratives.
- Partner with recruiters and ML leadership through rigorous ATS/CRM tracking, quality-focused candidate delivery, and data-backed market reporting.
