Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a CAD Software Development and Management Specialist to manage and improve software development, project management for silicon development infrastructure, and infrastructure for silicon verification at block & system levels.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SVN, Atlassian, JIRA, Bitbucket/Git, and Jenkins
- Experience in design verification environments, test bench development, infrastructure & methodologies for silicon development
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and version control
- Additional experience with functional & performance modeling using languages such as SystemC are a definite advantage
Responsibilities
- Administrate design repository: the candidate will be responsible for the administration and management of a version control repository
- Refactoring design/verification spaces: propose repository organization, for refactoring of design meta data, verification areas, generator files, and others
- Management of project tracking: prior to the project kick-off, the candidate will set up the project area, set up and administer program management and tracking, and implement regression automation deployment
- Consult on infrastructure for system level verification as well as subsystem level verification for silicon system interfaces such as DDR & PCIe
Other
- 15+ years with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in software development and project management
