Requirements
- fluency in Python, C++, or similar languages
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and docs-as-code workflows using Git and Markdown
- Track record of validating documentation through working applications and using AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity
- Experience with graphics, simulation, or real-time systems
- background in gaming, visual effects, robotics, or autonomous systems
- Familiarity with USD, OpenGL, Vulkan, Kubernetes, or containerization technologies
- Custom AI workflows that demonstrably improve code quality or documentation efficiency
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain executable sample code showing real-world SDK and API usage, creating reference implementations developers can trust and build upon
- Verify documentation accuracy by building applications against published APIs, ensuring technical correctness through hands-on validation
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines that keep code examples current with releases, catching breaking changes before developers encounter them
- Develop reusable templates for common integration patterns that accelerate ISV time-to-value and reduce repetitive support questions
- Partner with Developer Experience Lead to identify and solve friction points in developer workflows, using AI coding assistants to maintain quality at scale
Other
- 8+ years writing developer documentation or building sample applications for technical audiences
- Portfolio of reference architectures developers actually use, or open-source contributions with strong documentation
- Experience creating interactive tutorials, Jupyter notebooks, or developer onboarding experiences that measurably reduce time-to-first-success
