Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support all aspects of technical performance across multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC), primarily in support of the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) program.

Requirements

  • Experience and ability to work with and troubleshoot complex RF Subsystems and working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, Signal Sources, etc.)
  • Experience working within a team environment, developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders, and with MS Office tool suite.
  • Current active Secret clearance.
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • The ability to work with production equipment at a hands-on capacity.
  • Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, ability to multi-task team-oriented individual able to perform multidiscipline activities.

Responsibilities

  • Integration and testing of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules.
  • Transition and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE).
  • Working as part of a team to analyze Hardware and Software Test requirements and specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity & efficiency enhancements.
  • Interact with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
  • Oversight of test equipment used for production purposes.
  • Troubleshooting advanced RF subsystems.

Other

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • Support travel and off-shift hours during required flight-testing events.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
