General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) needs to apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar space and everything in between. The Senior Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
Responsibilities
- Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
- Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
- Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
- Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing
Other
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
