- Experience with trading or marketing including profit/loss responsibility for Product Trading, Contract Negotiation and Scheduling
Responsibilities
- Build and trade MPC’s physical and financial NGL and Petrochemical portfolio in the US markets
- Enter and manage derivative positions across NGL and Petrochemical exchanges and OTC
- Align hedging overlays with book level physical exposures and risk appetite
- Execute discretionary spreads and options structures within delegated authority
- Operate within approved position limits, liquidity, and stress limits and record exceptions per policy
- Use curve analytics, signals, and fundamentals to inform entries and exits as well as to optimize economic value added from short-term NGL purchases, sales, and exchanges
- Maintain trade journals and post-trade reviews to institutionalize learning
Other
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Five (5) or more years of experience in Trading or Marketing
- Up to 10% travel required
- Must be able to work in Houston, TX
- Must be eligible to work in the US
