At Schwab, the business problem is to create a simple, modern wealth management platform that enables world-class efficiency and highly personalized experiences for Advisors and Associate Wealth Advisors in the Wealth and Advice Solutions (WAS) organization.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of design experience on digital products and in a financial services environment with in-depth understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, technology applications, business architecture, client and representative experience, and project management
• Background in Enterprise Environments, Business and IT Strategy, Agile, Lean, Process Design, Program Management, Customer Relationship Management processes and technologies
• Knowledge of Agile methods and processes
• Strong understanding and/or experience with financial services regulations
• Knowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems
• Ability to create design solutions with a multi-faceted team, considering how digital, physical, and service channels work together
• Ability to take a systematic approach to designing interfaces, ensuring consistency across experiences

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic insights into actionable experience concepts by defining the structure, flow, and content of the solution
• Visualize design ideas through interactive prototypes that communicate the intended user experience
• Facilitate alignment and decision-making across business stakeholders, product owners, and technology partners
• Create design solutions with a multi-faceted team, considering how digital, physical, and service channels work together
• Take a systematic approach to designing interfaces, ensuring consistency across experiences
• Conduct the primary design activities, create deliverables, and conduct QA at an expert level
• Participate and support research efforts

• BA/BFA degree
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to communicate design rationale that connects user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
