Booz Allen is looking for a senior full stack developer to create a system that will make a difference, developing software and systems from vision to production-ready, and helping clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- Experience with developing software using Python or Java
- Experience in creating complex multi-dimensional visualizations
- Experience in data modeling, including normalization of data and working with metrics
- Experience with developing and maintaining web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (DBs) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of agile team development
- Experience with Linux environment
- Experience with relational databases (DBs) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Responsibilities
- Develop software using Python or Java
- Create complex multi-dimensional visualizations that are easy to understand, including options such as cascading, time-shifting, dynamic, and drill down
- Develop and maintain web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (DBs) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Explore unique and out-of-the-box visualization techniques and how they can be applied to networks
- Create static presentations and static web pages
- Lead small cross functional teams
- Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
Other
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 14+ years of experience with software engineering, or 18+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast–paced, highly collaborative, and team–oriented environment and balance long– and short–term taskings
- Must be willing to be on camera during interviews and assessments
- Must be willing to work in a flexible and collaborative environment, with occasional work from a Booz Allen or client site facility
