Requirements
- Expert qualitative interviewer; strong survey and quantitative skills and can pair research with product analytics/experiments
- Delivers crisp, actionable insights and reusable artifacts (personas, frameworks) that teams actually use
- Synthesizes signals from research, analytics, CX, and sales into cohesive direction for product
- Has built or significantly improved research operations (repos, workflows, intake) with systems for tracking insight adoption/impact
- Motivated to design and own new research operations systems on a growing product team to enable non-researchers to run safe, useful studies with clear guardrails
- Fluent with modern research and analytics tools (e.g., Dovetail/UserTesting, survey + product analytics, Figma/Notion/Slack, AI tools for analysis/synthesis)
- Fintech/crypto or DeFi experience is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic research initiatives that shape company direction
- Partner with product teams on high-stakes decisions requiring research evidence
- Synthesize insights across all customer touchpoints monthly
- Build and maintain research repository and insight management system
- Create research templates and playbooks for common study types
- Train PMs and designers on research methods through workshops and 1:1 coaching to maintain quality standards
- Manage research tools and participant recruitment infrastructure
