Requirements
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience with data visualization.
- Experience working in the digital/video advertising space.
- Experience designing advertiser-facing surfaces or with Google Ads.
- Experience working with large design systems and aligning requirements across different systems.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables such as design briefs, wireframes, user flows, mocks, and prototypes.
- Balance platform constraints, technical limitations, compliance requirements and user needs to deliver intuitive and effective design solutions.
- Support the development of new features and incremental improvements from end-to-end.
- Work within the constraints of existing design systems and engage with the design system owners to expand them when necessary.
- Rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
Other
- Help support and develop design team culture, and mentor junior designers in the team.
- Ability to collaborate and influence engineering and product management teams and manage ambiguous problems.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
