NRG is seeking to elevate its user-centric initiatives and ensure continued innovation in how it serves customers by hiring a Senior UX Researcher to inform and guide product and service design decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX Research or related roles, preferably with some exposure to UX Design practices.
- Proven track record of designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., user interviews, field studies, usability testing, surveys, A/B testing).
- Ability to translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Knowledge or experience with Contentsquare for use of identifying user behavior trends and embedding it within the UX research framework.
- Working knowledge of UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with Adobe Analytics is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct various qualitative and quantitative research studies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys) to gather actionable insights.
- Analyze and interpret data to create clear, concise reports and presentations that inform product strategies and design decisions.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user insights into every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Continuously refine and improve research methods to gather the most relevant, high-quality data possible.
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members and help foster a culture of user-centered design.

- Act as the voice of the user within the organization, ensuring that user needs and perspectives are always front and center.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, or a related field.
