Requirements
- 7-10+ years of user research experience for web and/or cloud products.
- Must have domain experience in cloud computing, etc.
- Strong proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Expertise in analyzing telemetry data using tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to synthesize and translate research insights into actionable design improvements.
- Experience in developing user journeys and conducting contextual inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive user research initiatives to uncover user needs and behaviors across our product portfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user research findings into the product development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement research protocols, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods, to inform design decisions.
- Utilize telemetry data and analytics tools to enhance insights into user interactions and drive product optimization strategies.
- Monitor and report on user engagement through dashboards and other reporting mechanisms, tracking progress over time.
- Mentor junior researchers and designers, promoting a culture of learning and user-centered design principles within the team.
- Champion user advocacy by effectively communicating research insights and user stories to stakeholders and leadership.
