The partner company of Jobgether is looking to solve the problem of creating accessible, intuitive, and impactful user experiences for complex digital products by hiring a Senior UX Researcher / Designer.
Requirements
- Expertise in human-centered design, interaction design, accessibility, and UI design best practices.
- Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools, government UX standards (Section 508, WCAG [2.1AA]), and federal systems is a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating process-driven design work informed by user research.
- 7+ years of experience as a UX researcher, designer, or in a related role, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and proactive in problem-solving and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead user research across multiple methodologies including interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, card sorting, and workshops.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Design user-centered interfaces, creating deliverables ranging from sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs align with user needs and project goals.
- Maintain design consistency by leveraging design systems, patterns, and accessibility standards.
- Integrate AI-powered tools to enhance UX deliverables and efficiency across the design process.
- Contribute to the broader UX practice, supporting mentorship, hiring, and community knowledge sharing.
