BNY is looking for a Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join their Enterprise Transformation Organization team to provide high-level application software development services and technical support, drive transformative solutions, and harness cutting-edge AI and breakthrough technologies to redefine industries.
Requirements
- 10-14 years of experience in software development; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of both user-side frontend and backend server-side development, including application frameworks and containerization.
- Intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases, and architecture design principles.
- Prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and consulting experience with structured methodologies.
- Broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
Responsibilities
- Consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services and technical support.
- Develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code for both frontend and backend systems using languages such as C-Sharp, Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Provide comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staff, including evaluating compliance with technology standards and guiding on emerging technologies.
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software functionality, including test automation suites, flowcharts, layouts, and documentation, while actively participating in code reviews and applying security and privacy principles.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to support mentoring junior engineers and effective teamwork.
