BNY is looking to design, implement, and support efficient monitoring solutions and tools for a large complex environment, identify improvements in current infrastructure tools, alerts, and processes, and provide technical design and leadership to integrate these solutions into the enterprise ecosystem.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, SolarWinds Orion, NetScout. This should encompass both usage of the tool along with its deployment and administration in a large complex environment
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- 3+ years of experience in development using languages such as Java or Python.
- 3+ years of experience in development of scripts for the Unix (Bash etc...) Windows (PowerShell, VB platform)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support efficient monitoring solutions and tools for a large complex environment
- Identify improvements that can be made in the current infrastructure tools, alerts and processes
- This is a hands-on role working with both open source and commercial software solutions, along with providing technical design and leadership to integrate these solutions into the enterprise eco system.

- Work collaboratively with other departments to efficiently and effectively deliver business goals
- Additionally, the candidate will provide local leadership and mentorship for Enterprise Monitoring and Automation employees based in Lake Mary.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
