BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President, UX Studio Designer to join their Design Hub to partner with areas of the bank that have not historically worked with Design, on a project basis, to solve complex user experience challenges.
Requirements
- providing guidance and technical expertise for the most complex user experience activities that include user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design.
- review documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams, as well as new and modified user personals.
- participate and provide guidance in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to meet project schedules.
- synthesize situations and information across multiple factors.
- seek to build their expertise while applying company policies and procedures in the resolution of a variety of issues.
- giving design feedback.
- build effective relationships with people on their immediate team and across other teams.

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- Advanced degree preferred
- 10-12 years of experience required
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
