Requirements
- 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, ERP/MRP systems, and aerospace documentation requirements.
- Certification in forklift and material handling equipment operations.
- Familiarity with cleanroom procedures, ESD protection, and FOD prevention in aerospace environments.
- Experience with aerospace packaging standards (MIL-STD-2073, NASA-STD-8739).
- ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming aerospace materials, hardware, and components in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, stored, and tracked within the ERP or inventory management system.
- Pick, kit, and issue components for production, integration, and test activities in support of satellite, propulsion, and subsystem manufacturing.
- Safely package and prepare aerospace hardware for internal transport or external shipment, following NASA/ESA/DoD packaging standards as applicable.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring traceability of all controlled items.
- Maintain compliance with cleanroom, ESD, and FOD control requirements when handling sensitive space hardware.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, etc.) to move heavy or oversized components safely.
Other
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely, including oversized aerospace hardware.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams.
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) due to ITAR/EAR export control requirements.
