Requirements
- Expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Proficiency in back-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., Python/Django/Flask, Node.js/Express, PHP/Laravel, Ruby on Rails) and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento, custom solutions).
- Strong understanding of web security best practices, performance optimization, and responsive design.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in full-stack web development, demonstrating a broad and deep understanding of web technologies.
- Proven portfolio showcasing modern, slick website designs and functional e-commerce stores.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and external collaborators.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust, modern, and visually appealing websites for all Hoskinson Companies divisions (Healthcare Clinic, Construction Company, Game Company, and Biomedical Division).
- Build and manage e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences, secure transactions, and effective product presentation.
- Continuously maintain existing websites, implementing updates, security patches, performance optimizations, and adding new features and functionalities based on business needs.
- Manage the entire web development lifecycle for assigned projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Execute the bulk of development work independently while strategically identifying when to engage and oversee external consultants or specialized experts (e.g., graphic designers, advanced SEO specialists) to ensure project completion and optimal quality.
- Stay abreast of the latest web technologies, industry trends, and best practices in modern web design, user experience (UX), and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to implement analytics, track website performance, and use data to inform design and development decisions.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent extensive practical experience.
- Must be located in Gillette, Wyoming, or willing to relocate to Gillette, Wyoming.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously with minimal micromanagement.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts and fostering collaboration.
