Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Systems Engineering Manager 3 to guide all Environment efforts across the AVE, provide direction to all environments leads, and interface directly with various IPTs to inform and provide understanding of key data and results.
Requirements
- Experience in Program Execution, Staffing, Engineering Metrics and Training resources, Processes, and Tools
- ICBM experience
- Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, or manager
- Experience in Flight environments analysis
- Experience developing Test setup, Flight Environments products for a major development program
- Experience in performing in an Agile environment and knowledge/understanding of JIRA
- Demonstrated technical writing experience in both authoring and reviewing formal analysis documentation; strong ability to verbally communicate technical content to senior engineering leadership
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to all environmental efforts and ensure that the tasking is properly assigned and completed within MS&A Environments team.
- Provide technical authority across the AVE segment with respect to the environmental requirements.
- Oversight/review of the analysis and test approach, at all levels, to ensure it is thorough and consistent with guiding industry standards and best practices.
- Review and approval of CDR analyses and results, model verification and validation plans, qualification and proto-qualification test plans and procedures, qualification and proto-qualification test reports.

Other
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access within a period of time, that meets current business needs
- Minimum of 3 years in a formal management position
- Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations
- Demonstrated experience leading a team through an EMD program in compliance with program requirements
