Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sentinel Software Engineering Manager 2 to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role involves both functional management and technical responsibilities for the Command & Control (C2) Software Test Team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in embedded and/or application software test planning and software test execution.
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a Cost Account Manager or managing EV for an engineering team.
  • Prior Experience of ICBM test methodologies.
  • Experience with AFI Test Directive 99-103.
  • Experience in CSCI level hardware and software integration testing.
  • Experience in deployment of embedded software with lab equipment.
  • Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will lead the Command & Control (C2) Software Test Team, consisting of approximately 20 software test engineers and automation test engineers.
  • Lead a team responsible for developing, performing, and supporting test activities and test documentation at the CSCI level.
  • Cost Account Management and Risk Management duties.
  • Participate in technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for element capabilities.
  • Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness and compliance of the test program.
  • Verify specifications and designs through testing, test data processing, and support modeling and simulation and performance analysis.
  • Site and flight test support for subsystem requirement verification.

Other

  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
  • US Citizenship with Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
  • U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • 3+ years leading a team, including mentoring and coaching.
