Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sentinel Software Engineering Manager 2 to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program
Requirements
- 6 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
- Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
- US Citizenship with Ability to obtain Special Program Access
- At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in embedded and/or application software test planning and software test execution
Responsibilities
- Lead the Command & Control (C2) Software Test Team
- Develop, perform, and support test activities and test documentation at the CSCI level
- Participate in technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for element capabilities
- Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness and compliance of the test program
- Verify specifications and designs through testing, test data processing, and support modeling and simulation and performance analysis
- Site and flight test support for subsystem requirement verification
Other
- Assess staffing needs, current as well as projected and work with the respective team leads to address those needs
- Support recruitment activities including the creation of requisitions, conducting interviews, and approving offers
- Work with program leaders in establishing personal, program, and functional goals as well as performing performance evaluations and merit adjustments for subordinates
- Provide subordinates with career development recommendations, mentoring, discipline, as necessary
- Generate training plans based on the program and subordinates' needs
