Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support the Sentinel program, developing front and back-end software applications, and identifying COTS candidates to push the boundaries of possible across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace.
Requirements
- Proficient in C, C++ or Assembly
- Thorough understanding of Operating Systems such as VxWorks and Linux.
- An understanding in hardware architecture.
- Hands-on experience working with a Real Time Operating System (RTOS)
- Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing both front and backend applications
- Evaluation of COTS products that may contribute to the end product
- Developing technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Developing front end Software applications.
- Developing back-end Software applications.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Staying abreast of developments in programming languages.

- Active DoD Secret clearance - a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
- US Citizenship with Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Principal Software Engineer : 05 Years with Bachelor’s in related field of study, 03 Years with Masters,01 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
- Communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
- Perform work without appreciable direction.
