Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Product Systems Engineering Manager 3 for Command and Control systems engineering to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program and the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field
  • EVMS/CAM experience
  • Project management skills and experience with Agile methodology
  • Working knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines
  • Experience with distributed command and control systems engineering implementation
  • Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Product Engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and implement engineering processes and standards to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing phases of new products, ensuring alignment with market needs and strategic goals.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch, conducting risk assessments and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Manage MBSE products for development lifecycle; requires extensive MBSE knowledge base

Other

  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (< 6 years)
  • Experience managing people preferred
  • Strong communication, cross-functional integration, and interpersonal skills, capable of working with various stakeholders
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field with 8 years of related experience or MS in STEM and 6 years related experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance
