Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Sentinel program. The role involves developing both front-end and back-end applications, creating servers and databases, ensuring application responsiveness, and designing APIs. The goal is to build and maintain sophisticated software systems for critical defense programs.
Requirements
- Proficient in C, C++ or Assembly
- Thorough understanding of Operating Systems such as VxWorks and Linux.
- An understanding in hardware architecture.
- Hands-on experience working with a Real Time Operating System (RTOS)
Responsibilities
- Developing front end Software applications.
- Developing back-end Software applications.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Evaluation of COTS products that may contribute to the end product
