Requirements

  • Experience developing semantic data ontologies
  • Experience with statistics, including sampling techniques, survey design, and precision measures
  • Experienced in programming languages, statistical packages, and computer-based data systems
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to provide technical guidance on data design, collection, and statistical analysis
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for reports, presentations, and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Data visualization – Make the visualization of large datasets accessible to non-engineers
  • Data Transformation – Work with Data Scientists to develop software to interpret data relationships and ontologies
  • Develop software for analytics tools used for analysis of complex statistical and machine learning models to build predictive and prescriptive strategies
  • Interface with requirements and deriving design from requirements in a model based systems engineering environment
  • Derive and allocate requirements into detailed design
  • Designs, develops and tests displays, controls and functionality

Other

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access within a period of time, that meets current business needs
  • 1 year of experience leading projects, driving performance against schedules, and interfacing with customers
  • Ability to work independently towards long-range goals and objectives
  • Initiative in determining and pursuing effective courses of action
