Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Software Engineer to support the Sentinel program. The successful candidate will be a motivated software developer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming as well as identifying COTS candidates. Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing both front and backend applications. Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Proficient in C, C++ or Assembly
- Thorough understanding of Operating Systems such as VxWorks and Linux.
- An understanding in hardware architecture.
- Hands-on experience working with a Real Time Operating System (RTOS)
Responsibilities
- Developing front end Software applications.
- Developing back-end Software applications.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Evaluation of COTS products that may contribute to the end product
