Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. Principal System Software Analyst to join their Sentinel Atlassian team to support and manage Jira, Confluence, and Crowd systems.
Requirements
In-depth knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Crowd administration and customization
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) for developing custom workflows and automation within Jira
Strong understanding of integration between Atlassian tools and other systems
Proficiency in SQL for database interactions, and familiarity with REST APIs for system integrations
Proficiency with JQL (Jira Query Language) for building advanced queries inside Jira
Hands-on experience with managing large-scale Jira and Confluence instances, including performance tuning and scaling
Atlassian Certified - Jira Administration for Data Center
Responsibilities
Supporting and managing Jira, Confluence, and Crowd systems
Developing custom capabilities within the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, and Crowd)
Developing custom workflows and automation within Jira using scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript)
Integrating Atlassian tools with other systems
Managing large-scale Jira and Confluence instances, including performance tuning and scaling
Building advanced queries inside Jira using JQL (Jira Query Language)
Interacting with databases using SQL and system integrations using REST APIs

Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
8 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
