Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to support the Sentinel program, requiring design, development, testing, integration, documentation, and delivery of software for sustainment efforts.
Requirements
- Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team
- Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles
- Familiarity with Full Stack application development including API design
- Experience developing database and design
- Experience programming in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts
- Experience with UI design and development, or experience Interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation
Responsibilities
- design, develop, test, integrate, document, and deliver software in support of the sustainment effort
- have a leadership role in the team as an engineer, coach, and mentor to less experienced team members
- designing software using UML in Cameo
- performing trade studies of COTS products for use in the delivered system
- using DOORs to document software requirements
- generating and delivering documents (CDRLs) for government use
- interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation
Other
- US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- Ability to team plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning.
