EY is looking to solve complex challenges in the financial services industry by designing, building, deploying, and customizing complex technical solutions to accelerate and streamline software application delivery and system integration projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field and approximately 3 years of relevant work experience
- Technical knowledge with all aspects of the software lifecycle including design, architecture, development and testing
- Candidate must have a mix of experience in Java and/or Python, along with hands-on test automation skills using Selenium and/or Playwright (with TypeScript/JavaScript)
- 3+ years of experience in Java or Python, with strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Proficiency in core programming concepts such as collections, serialization, exception handling, and data structures (e.g., LinkedHashMap in Java or equivalent in Python)
- Experience applying software development and architecture best practices in either Java or Python environments
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using tools such as JUnit, Selenium, REST Assured, Karate, or Playwright (with TypeScript/JavaScript)
Responsibilities
- Works directly with the client engagement and delivery center leadership teams on executing the Engagement Management Framework
- Conduct tests and undertake analysis of results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client requirements
- Planning, designing and implementing tools or assets to solve complex problems, including primarily custom Java-based tools and frameworks
- Developing client relationships across multiple levels and support sales efforts
- Contributes consistently to the development of technical solutions throughout the solution delivery center
- Leads team meetings (e.g., status meetings)
- Provides detailed review of team’s work product (i.e., associates and analysts)
