Packsize International is looking for an Service Desk Specialist to join their team to provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal Service Desk.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Google Workplace, Windows, and Apple operating systems
- Experience with DNS/DHCP, Client VPN, and Active Directory
- Experience with IT ticketing systems, mobile devices, and other computer hardware
Responsibilities
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IService Desk
- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
- Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
- Manage mobile devices for all Packsize LLC employees through Intune and FreshService
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
Other
- Currently enrolled or working on a college degree in the equivalent field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and people skills
- May require occasional travel
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
