Toyota is looking to improve Service Parts Supply Chain efficiency & operations through new initiatives and modernize supply chain applications
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of progressive, broad-based IT experience successfully implementing complex IT applications and /or developing effective solutions to diverse and complex business challenges and opportunities
- Experience with application modernization planning and execution (platform migrations, re-architecting and application / functionality consolidation)
- Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs
- Knowledge in managing across a mixed, complex portfolio and technology stack, residing across multiple technology platforms with expertise in complex application transformation efforts
- Experience implementing and/or supporting business-critical systems where volume, performance, and uptime reliability are critical
- Cloud certification (AWS/Google) is a plus
- Detailed knowledge and experience with technologies and methodologies deployed within the Automotive Supply Chain is a plus
Responsibilities
- Enable North American service parts supply chain operations through new initiatives, utilize hands-on experience to understand current situation, analysis for improvements and determining a future path for application modernization
- Partner with enterprise architecture team for application architecture and manage technical documents
- Communicate and build relationships with all stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between IT and business to influence direction and achieve buy in
- Lead technical teams in building solutions while understanding the changing business needs and industry best practices
- Provide guidance on technical solutions, design, and code reviews for adherence to Toyota IT standards and best practices
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of application stability, performance, and complexity reduction
- Lead ITx process and technology enhancements to improve the quality of ITx products and services
Other
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts, influence and persuade others, and make recommendations to management
- Ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously while balancing the workload and constraints of each
- Ability to identify and manage issues, risks, and project impediments with a focus on execution, quality, and on-time project delivery
