GDIT is looking to manage the network that makes mission success possible by delivering 'One GDIT Network' for their clients, and they need a ServiceNow Developer Principal to play a crucial role in this mission.
Requirements
- Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules, especially ITSM
- Familiarity with BMC Remedy and/or Helix development and administration, including its ITSM applications and data structures
- Proficiency with integration methods like SOAP, REST, and web services, including creating and consuming them
- Strong scripting skills with at least one language – preferably JavaScript
- Experience with ServiceNow's data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB
- Active ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator or ability to obtain within 30 days of start
- Additional ServiceNow certifications strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and BMC Remedy, often involving ticket creation, data synchronization, and CMDB consolidation
- Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Create and manage data migration processes from Remedy to ServiceNow using tools like Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data sources
- Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements
- Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks
- Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality
