Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support a Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program for Department of Homeland Security remotely out of Fairfax, VA. The team is seeking a skilled front-end developer to enhance ServiceNow capabilities for a critical cyber security program.
Requirements
- Experience in writing modular, object-oriented JavaScript
- Experience in modern UI technologies like HTML5, CSS3, DOM, Ajax
- Experience with web application development JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, and XML on a Java / JavaScript Stack
- Experience with the following: SQL, T-SQL, MySQL, SQL SSRS
Responsibilities
- Support application releases through research, technical analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze, design, and develop business applications on a distributed, cloud-based enterprise platform.
- Develop using web technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (including Bootstrap).
- Design and implement responsive web applications within the ServiceNow platform.
- Utilize web development tools and languages including JSON, SQL, AJAX, HTML, XML, and CSS.
- Write advanced scripts for business rules, UI policies, client scripts, access control lists (ACLs), and workflow activities.
- Develop web services using JavaScript for API integrations.

- Must be willing and able to pass a DHS background check to obtain a DHS/CISA EOD Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of front-end development experience to include ServiceNow
- 100% remote, Fairfax, VA (must be local for occasional meetings)
