Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a ServiceNow Developer SME to build and enhance a modern cloud platform that supports digital engineering and mission-critical operations.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of ServiceNow experience, with emphasis on development, integration, and hands-on participation in full lifecycle implementations
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD); additional Implementation Specialist or Architect-level certifications are a plus
- Expertise with ServiceNow development, CI/CD, test automation, and DevSecOps practices
- Experience with ServiceNow components including Discovery, Flow Designer, and SAM
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Foreman, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab) and automated testing tools (Selenium)
- Experience with cloud architecture and system design (AWS preferred, Azure considered)
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, and secure enterprise environments
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow infrastructure and APIs in an AWS cloud environment, ensuring secure roles, permissions, and integration with IdAM, Active Directory, and LDAP.
- Develop and maintain automated solutions using DevSecOps tools (Foreman, GitLab, Selenium), CI/CD practices, and automated testing plans across Linux and Windows environments.
- Produce high-quality technical deliverables, including documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and presentations for government and senior leadership.
- Collaborate effectively in Agile teams, applying engineering rigor, troubleshooting skills, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Verification and validation of ServiceNow and integrated systems (end-to-end, regression testing)
- Experience with cloud architecture and system design (AWS preferred, Azure considered)
- Proven engineering rigor with expert troubleshooting skills
Other
- Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (Security+ CE or higher)
- Strong documentation and communication skills, supporting collaboration in cross-functional teams
