Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a ServiceNow Developer SME to build and enhance a modern cloud platform that supports digital engineering and mission-critical operations
Requirements
- Active ServiceNow certifications (Developer, Administrator, or Implementation Specialist)
- 8-10 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience in enterprise or government environments
- Experience integrating ServiceNow within Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) platforms or environments
- Expertise developing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions utilizing CI/CD, test automation, and DevSecOps practices
- Proficiency in Cloud architecture and system design (AWS preferred; Azure acceptable)
- Proficiency with core DevOps tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab
- Experience developing automated test plans and using testing tools (e.g., Selenium)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow infrastructure and applications within secure AWS cloud environments
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, and IdAM to support mission operations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to automate deployment, testing, and updates
- Develop and execute automated test plans using tools like Selenium to ensure functionality and compliance
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow modules (Discovery, Flow Designer) for performance, security, and usability
- Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and security teams to maintain interoperability across Linux and Windows systems
- Troubleshoot complex issues, document solutions, and communicate technical status to stakeholders and leadership
Other
- Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
- Must possess a DoD 8570 baseline certification (Security+ CE or higher)
- Applicants selected will be United States citizens and may be subject to a government security investigation for access to classified information
- Must be willing to work on-site in Sterling, VA
